I don’t know everyone seems to love it but i don’t. Grew up seeing my dad and his friends carry this every weekend when they go out for some sports. Now again, i am not trying to judge anyone who wears these. Everyone has freedom to express themselves. These are just my personal view. Some with credentials, most without. I get tons of compliments from men everyday and a few by women who tell me that they wish they had the courage to wear what I’m wearing. I tell them that I make myself happy and they should do the same. Just wear what you think looks good and don’t worry about what others think. There will always be someone who will criticize your fashion sense. Because one of these days you are going to need to get a job, and once you have a job, even (or especially!) in academia you will have to deal with internal politics.
